Yes, it’s a thing. A trend, a phenomenon, even an art, you could say. The selfeet is the selfie for the self-respecting traveller, an alternative to the notorious selfie. Travellers post their view from where they stand or sit, revealing the beautiful or diverse destinations at their feet and the world as they see it. We have collected a few of our favourites as captured by our guests, while they rest in bed or on a chair looking out over the Zambezi, while bathing in a cloud of bubbles or reclining in a hammock, awaiting that second G&T. Consider it a collection of intimate moments, through the eye of a traveller to Zambia, a window to our lodge and unique place in the world.

Ok, there are a few of our own selfeet included. We’d love to see any you’ve taken sneakily – that you have been holding onto for this very request, for this celebration of our little paws and where they take us. A deserved celebration, as Bob Marley sang, because “my feet is my only carriage.”
