Muli Buuti – “Hello” in Tonga

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ~Margaret Meade

Holding the World Travel Awards trophy in our hands for this year’s title as Zambia’s Leading Safari Lodge, for the sixth consecutive year, is proof of these words by Margaret Meade.

The daily dedication of each individual in our committed team, working toward the bigger dream of improving not only ourselves but the greater whole, is what has brought us to where we are today… A position where anything seems possible, where we work each day to help change not only Zambia, but the greater global community, for the better, little by little.

It is a position where men and women from our local community on the banks of the Zambezi meet with the rest of the world, and with the rare chance to be someone they’ve always wanted to be – world-class chef, professional photographer, birding expert, massage therapist…

Awards help to inspire us to keep striving for these goals, but they are not the be all and end all. It is the little successes we reach each day and the joy we share in experiencing them together that count – from moments like The Royal Chundu Cook Off to the endless drive of our budding photographer and the rest of the team…
