“Curiosity. That’s what drives us all…,” say the folks behind this year’s Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. It’s what drives us to travel, to “seek out the best hotels and destinations, the most wonderful cities, the islands worth shouting about.”

Curiosity is up there with hope and love, a spirit that pushes us to live more deeply. The more curious the traveller, the deeper into our world we can take them, the greater our chance of understanding one another better, of connecting, of having a meaningful journey together.

For the 32nd annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey, a record 600,000 registered curious voters listed their favourite places around the world to explore. We couldn’t be more honoured to be highlighted among these names, as it means we managed to do just what we set out to do: to go deeper, to understand, to connect and have some meaningful fun.

Thanks to your votes, we have been named #10 in the Top 30 Resorts in Africa 2019 in the first ever joint US / UK Condé Nast Global Readers’ Choice Awards!
